Mix flour, oats, brown sugar, baking soda and salt in a large bowl. Add in butter.
Press into greased pan and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
Top crust: In a large bowl beat eggs, stir in brown sugar.
Mix flour, baking powder and ? tsp salt and stir into egg mixture.
Add coconut and cherries, stir until combined.
Spread mixture over prepared crust using a spatula.
Sprinkle with chopped almond.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
Remove from oven and allow cooling. Cut as per desired shape.
